Expert Nutrition for Every Stage of Your Child’s Life
Early life and Childhood Nutrition
With over 13 years experience in Paediatric and neonatal nutrition, I specialize in supporting neonates, children and adolescents with various health conditions including food allergies and intolerances, faltering growth, coeliac disease, prematurity and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
I am both an SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) and SOFFI ( Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants) trained professional, hence skilled and experienced in managing feeding difficulties from the early neonatal period all the way through to early childhood and adolescence. An integral part of this training is learning to begin with each child and family’s strengths, helping children to learn to eat at a pace that works for both their developmental stage and medical stability.
As both a professional dietitian and a Mum, I have lived the experience and offer compassionate, practical advice grounded in evidence-based nutrition. I believe that food should be enjoyable, practical and supportive of life long health. My goal for each consultation is to offer personalised support for families and parents as they navigate nutritional challenges at all stages of life.
I provide both in person and remote consultations across the Ireland and the UK, making expert support accessible and flexible for busy parents. See below for more in depth information regarding the range of dietetic support provided.

Consultations
As a children’s dietitian, I provide expert, evidence based support for a wide range of conditions and challenges with a focus on practical, family centered solutions.
Infant and Toddler Nutrition: I provide expert advice with weaning and general introduction of solids. I am an SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) trained dietitian, specialising in supporting children with feeding difficulties. The SOS Approach to feeding is an evidence based program that looks beyond just “what” a child eats and explores how they experience food through all their senses. This approach helps children who are picky eaters, anxious around food , or those who have complex feeding challenges.
Gastrointestinal Concerns: I am highly experienced in the management of conditions including coeliac disease, constipation, reflux and other gut related issues. I have worked alongside leading gastroenterologists in the management of irritable bowel disease including guiding parents/ families with exclusive enteral nutrition as a treatment strategy for Crohn’s disease.
Allergies: I provide expert guidance on elimination and re-introduction of allergens ( in collaboration with medical teams) to help identify problem foods safely. I guide parents with practical meal planning and tailored advice to ensure your child’s diet is balanced and nutritious, even with avoiding allergens such as milk, egg, wheat, soya or multiple allergens.
General Health and Wellbeing : I provide guidance to families on nutrition to support growth, development and energy needs. I work to support active children and young athletes with balanced fueling and can also provide advice for vegetarian or vegan families to ensure adequacy.
Premature Health: I am a SOFFI trained professional, with expertise in supporting infants who experience feeding difficulties with early feeding. The SOFFI approach (Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants) is an evidence based method that helps babies who are premature, medically complex, or struggling with oral feeding to develop safe, positive feeding skills. With this training, I am qualified to guide families and work alongside healthcare teams to build positive, nurturing feeding experiences that support long- term development.
